沿　革　Brief History

昭和37年 （1962）		4月	1日		機械工学科、電気工学科、工業化学科の３学科で発足 Established with the 3 Depts. of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Industrial Chemistry. 初代校長に木村和三郎名古屋大学名誉教授就任 Dr. Wasaburo KIMURA, Emeritus Prof., Nagoya Univ. appointed as the 1st President.
		4月	28日		開校式および第１回入学式（学生１３２名）を鈴鹿電気通信学園内仮校舎で挙行 Foundation and the 1st Entrance Ceremony (with 132 freshmen) held at the Temporary School-Building in Suzuka Academy of Electrical and Communication Engineering.
昭和38年 （1963）		3月	25日		鈴鹿市白子町官有地に新校舎第１期工事（管理棟、基礎学科教室棟及び工業化学科棟、寄宿舎その他）竣工 1st Phase of Construction of New Buildings at the Government Estate, Shiroko, Suzuka finished, including Administration Offices, General Education, Chemistry and Dormitory Buildings.
		6月	22日		校歌および校旗制定 College Song and Flag adopted.
		11月	16日		陸上競技場完成 Track and Field Facilities built.
昭和39年 （1964）		3月	10日		第2期工事（工業化学科実験棟、電気工学科実験棟、機械実習工場等）竣工 2nd Phase of Construction completed including Industrial Chemistry and Electrical Engineering Buildings and Training Factory.
		12月	10日		テニスコート竣工 Tennis Court built.
昭和40年 （1965）		3月	24日		第３期工事（機械工学科実験棟、体育館、剣道場、弓道場等）竣工 3rd Phase of Construction completed including Mechanical Engineering Building, Gymnasium and Kendo & Kyudo Arenas.
		4月	1日		事務部制施行、庶務課、会計課設置 Administrative Bureau System enacted; Divisions of Finance and General Affairs founded.
		8月	10日		野球場完成 Baseball Facilities built.
		8月	20日		合宿施設（和同会館）竣工 Dormitory Seminar House, Wado-Kaikan, built.
昭和41年 （1966）		4月	1日		金属工学科設置 Metallurgy established.
昭和42年 （1967）		3月	14日		金属工学科実験棟、寄宿舎等新築工事竣工 Metallurgy Building and Dormitory completed.
		3月	20日		第２機械実習工場竣工 2nd School Factory built.
		4月	8日		全寮制発足 Obligatory Dormitory System adopted.
昭和44年 （1969）		3月	25日		柔道場竣工 Judo Arena built.
昭和45年 （1970）		3月	16日		図書館竣工 Library built.
		4月	1日		事務部に学生課設置 Student Affairs Division founded.
昭和47年 （1972）		3月	15日		水泳プール竣工 Swimming Pool built.
		11月	11日		創立10周年記念「校歌の碑」建立、除幕式挙行 Monument to College Song built at 10th Anniversary, and the Unveiling Ceremony held.
		11月	25日		創立10周年記念式典挙行 Commemorative Ceremony for the 10th Anniversary held.
		12月	4日		電子計算機室竣工 Computer Center built.
昭和52年 （1977）		4月	1日		木村和三郎校長退官 ２代目校長として矢野弥就任 Dr. Wasaburo KIMURA, the 1st President, retired. Dr. Wataru YANO appointed as the 2nd President.
昭和55年 （1980）		2月	28日		第２体育館竣工 2nd Gymnasium built.
昭和56年 （1981）		3月	23日		青峰会館竣工 Student Hall, Seiho, built.
		4月	28日		創立20周年記念「知徳体の碑」建立、除幕式挙行 Monument to Intelligence, Virtue and Body built on the 20th Anniversary and the Unveiling Ceremony held.
昭和57年 （1982）		3月	25日		創立20周年記念レリ−フ“RELIEVO DE MECH”青峰会館玄関に設置 The Relief, RELIEVO DE MECH, installed in Seiho-Kaikan on the 20th Anniversary.
		4月	28日		創立20周年記念式典挙行 Commemorative Ceremony for the 20th Anniversary held.
昭和60年 （1985）		4月	1日		矢野弥校長退官 ３代目校長として久保田郁夫就任 Dr. Wataru YANO, the 2nd President, retired. Dr. Ikuo KUBOTA appointed as the 3rd President.
昭和61年 （1986）		3月	19日		材料科学研究センター竣工 Research Center for Material Science built.
		4月	1日		金属工学科を材料工学科に改組 Dept. of Metallurgy reorganized into Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering.
昭和62年 （1987）		6月	12日		ノーベル化学賞受賞者福井謙一博士を招聘し、創立25周年記念特別講演会開催 25th Anniversary Commemorative Special Lecture by Dr. Kenichi FUKUI, a Nobel Prize winner
平成元年 （1989）		4月	1日		電子情報工学科設置 Dept. of Electronic and Information Engineering established.
平成 2年 （1990）		6月	5日		オハイオ州立大学工学部と学術交流協定締結 Statement of Collaboration signed with the College of Engineering, The Ohio State University.
平成 3年 （1991）		3月	31日		電子情報工学科棟竣工 Electronic and Information Engineering Building completed.
		4月	23日		電子情報工学科棟竣工披露式挙行 Publication Ceremony for Electronic and Information Engineering Building held.
		10月	9日		カナダ、ジョージアン技術大学と学術文化交流協定締結 Statement of Collaboration signed with the Georgian College of Applied Arts and Technology, Canada
平成 4年 （1992）		2月	17日		創立30周年記念モニュメント「工学の華」の碑建立、除幕式挙行 30th Anniversary Monument, Kogakuno Hana, built and the Unveiling Ceremony held.
		4月	28日		創立30周年記念式典挙行 Commemorative Ceremony for 30th Anniversary held.
平成 5年 （1993）		3月	4日		寄宿舎（青峰寮Ａ）竣工 Dormitory (SeihoA) built.
		4月	1日		久保田郁夫校長退官　４代目校長として戸田成一就任 Dr. Ikuo KUBOTA, the 3rd President, retired. Mr. Seiichi TODA appointed as the 4th President. 専攻科（電子機械工学専攻、応用物質工学専攻）設置 Advanced Engineering Faculty established with the Advanced Courses of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering ＆Applied Chemistry and Material Engineering.
		4月	20日		専攻科第１期生（24名）の入学式挙行 1st Entrance Ceremony held for 24 freshmen of Advanced Engineering Faculty.
平成 6年 （1994）		12月	9日		専攻科棟竣工 Advanced Engineering Faculty Building completed.
平成 7年 （1995）		1月	24日		専攻科設置記念式典挙行 Commemorative Ceremony for establishing Advanced Engineering Faculty held.
		1月	25日		推薦入学制度導入 System of Admission by Recommendation enacted.
平成 8年 （1996）		3月	25日		情報ネットワーク（学内ＬＡＮ）完成 Information Network (Campus LAN) completed.
		10月	2日		SCS導入 SCS (Space Collaboration System) installed.
平成 9年 （1997）		4月	1日		工業化学科を生物応用化学科に改組、応用化学及び生物化学の２コ−ス制を開設 Dept. of Industrial Chemistry reorganized into Dept. of Chemistry and Biochemistry with two courses; Applied Chemistry and Biochemistry.
平成10年 （1998）		7月	1日		戸田成一校長退官 ５代目校長として勝山正嗣就任 Mr.Seiichi TODA, the 4th President,retired. Mr.Masatsugu KATSUYAMA appointed as the 5th President.
平成12年 （2000）		3月	15日		電子情報工学科棟増築工事竣工 Annex to Electronic and Information Engineering Building completed.
平成13年 （2001）		1月	29日		マルチメディア棟竣工 Multimedia Building completed.
平成14年 （2002）		4月	1日		共同研究推進センター発足 Research Center for Regional Collaboration completed
		4月	27日		創立40周年記念式典挙行 Commemorative Ceremony for the 40th Anniversary held
平成15年 （2003）		4月	1日		電気工学科を電気電子工学科に名称変更 Dept. of Electrical Engineering relabeled to Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
